How To Use A Knot Hair Stick To Create An Easy Up-Do
It's true what they say, about necessity being the mother of invention. I designed the Knot Hair Stick when I couldn't find a hair elastic while working in my studio. I was going to use a pencil to sweep my hair away from my face, and hence away from studio danger, when I thought: "I'm sure I can come up with something better than this." And thus the Simple Hair Fork and Knot Hair Stick in sterling silver were born. I think they are both a nice, stylish upgrade to the pencil, or the ubiquitous elastic around the wrist.
I do get a lot of questions though about the best way to use them to put your hair up, and at shows I end up doing a lot of demonstrations, which seems to really help people. So I have made this quick how-to video to share with all of you. I hope you find it useful!
