ORDERS and ORDERING

How long will it take to receive my order?

I do my best to make your order and get it shipped out within a week of when I receive it. Occasionally, during very busy times in the studio, delivery can take a little bit longer. If you need your order by a specific date please let me know by email and I will do my absolute best to work within your timeline.

How do you ship?

I ship via USPS First Class mail, with insurance and tracking. Express shipping available by request.  Shipping rates are based on total order amount, and are as follows:

Do you giftwrap? Can I include a gift message?

All orders arrive carefully packaged and ready for giving, in tissue paper, a jewelry box, and ribbon. I’m also happy to include a handwritten gift message. Just email me the details.

What are your return and exchange policies?

I accept returns on most items in their original condition within 7 days of delivery. I want you to be happy! Refunds will be in the form of original method of payment, less shipping. Buyer is responsible for return shipping.

To accommodate gift givers and receivers, exchanges are allowed within 30 days on items in their original condition, or by January 15th for holiday gifts. Buyer is responsible for shipping costs.

What ring size should I order? And do you offer half or quarter sizes?

If you are unsure of your ring size you should stop into a local jeweler and have your finger sized. I am happy to accommodate half or quarter sizes, just mention it when you check out, or send me an email along with your order with the requested size.

Do you take custom orders? Or custom lengths, sizes, or metals?

I am usually able to customize my own work, in terms of necklace length, materials, or comparative sizes of design components. Just drop me a note with your request and I’ll be happy to let you know if it is possible. I don’t, however, do complete custom designs.


JEWELRY CARE

Will my jewelry tarnish? And what is the best place to store my jewelry to keep it clean?

All sterling silver is vulnerable to tarnish, but there are some easy things you can do to protect your jewelry and keep it bright for longer. The first and best thing, is to wear it. The gentle abrasion from regular wear keeps your silver burnished clean and bright. The next best thing is to keep it stored in a plastic bag when you are not wearing it. I like to keep jewelry in zip top baggies with the clasp secured in the top to keep it from getting tangled in the bag. Check out this handy how-to video I made to see how to do it.

What is the best way to travel with my jewelry so it doesn’t tangle?

Zip lock bags! See this video for how to store and travel with your jewelry in ziplock baggies to stop necklaces from tangling or tarnishing.

What is the best way to polish my jewelry if it does get tarnished?

There are lots of products out there to help you polish your jewelry. My favorite is Wright’s Silver Cream, which is readily available and inexpensive. You can use the sponge included in the can, or to better reach the inside of small chains you can use an old toothbrush. But no matter what silver polish you use, including polishing cloths, after you polish, be sure to rinse your jewelry with gentle soap and water, and then dry thoroughly before wearing or putting away.

Will this work on my gold fill jewelry?

Yes. Use the same process on your gold fill jewelry to restore shine.

What if none of this has worked? What can I do?

I’m happy to polish your jewelry and restore it back to at least close to its original appearance for you for a small fee and the cost of return shipping. Email me to make arrangements. *available on my work only


REPAIRS

What is your repair policy?

Repairs are available for up to 1 year after purchase on sterling silver and 14k gold fill pieces. Cost of time and materials will be applied on a case by case basis.

Repairs on solid 14k pieces are available indefinitely. Cost of repair will be assessed on a case by case basis.

I lost an earring. Can I order a single earring to replace it?

I’m happy to make earring matches for you at half the cost of the original pair of earrings. Due to the handmade nature of my work, I will need you to send me the remaining earring in order to make an exact match. Please email me to make arrangements.
